This classic Vermont ski getaway is one for the books with 485 skiable acres. Take the Gondola Skyride to the top of Mount Mansfield - Vermont’s highest mountain, for 360 degree views or take a lift up to Spruce Peak and choose from 116 ski trails between the two. There are trails for you at Stowe, no matter your skill level, but if you’re a beginner, I would suggest you start on the gentle Spruce Peak that has your typical magic carpet runs and an easy chair lift close to the base. Pros can veer off to the blues and black diamonds at the top of the mountain.
